In the modern age, marketing meaning has changed.
In the earlier theory, selling something was considered to be marketing. That is telling people about the product and sells them.
But in modern premise, marketing means to satisfy customer needs.
Marketing can be defined as an operation by which a corporation produce necessary products for their clients and that makes a strong relationship between them so that they can be valuable to their customers.

If the seller develops a product by understanding the customer’s demand, which will provide the superior service to the customer and deliver it to them through an effective promotional campaign, the product will definitely sell.
When all above-described process maintains through online is called eMarketing.
As an illustration, Matador is a pen producing company.
The primary objective should be produced maximum pieces of the pen with a set price.
Their main targeted customer should be the student, corporate and business people. Because among all of this two type of people uses pen most and internet also.
With this purpose, now their marketing team runs a website where showcase different pen.
When the customers see this product they will feel the interest to buy a pen.
The point is the fact that how a customer find the website?
To achieve this, the company needs to promote a website on the internet.
In order that search engine brings Matador’s website to their first page. And the customer can easily find the product.

Emarketing is same as general thinking, the only strategy is changed. Its aim is to attract visitor and give value to them.
